Hi. Wow, almost two years to the day since I’ve posted anything. I didn’t mean to be gone so long. I’ve graduated and got a full-time job and gone through a whole bunch of stuff in my personal life, and now things are finally settling down and I’m also actually starting to get back into writing fanfic. It will be a while before I have anything ready to post, though.
If anyone still remembers who I am, sorry I took so long. :)

I haven't been on DA in months now, for which I apologize to my watchers. I haven't been meaning to neglect you. You see, it's my senior year at university and I have to turn in my thesis this semester. The first half (fifty pages or so) is due in a month. Hence the title of this journal entry.
I do have things to post - well, thing, anyway. I finished a project in EARLY AUGUST and haven't gotten around to downloading the photo off my camera yet. But I can't make any promises as to when I will get it up here. I also have a half-finished 250/300 fanfic which I do want to finish eventually, as well as one or two other fanfics which unfortunate

Summer's about half over, and I haven't got anywhere near everything done I was planning to have done by this time.
I have to find the texts for my senior project (15,000 words!) so I can submit them for approval in the first week of school in September, and I've barely started looking. I also want to go through and purge my two double-stacked shelves of books and papers dating from the last three years. I was hoping to get another fanfic or two finished (might still happen), but right now I'm focusing on another major project (I will post it when it is finished) which is taking up more of my free time than I had expected.

No problem! I'm super impressed with your writing -- you really get into the characters' heads, and your writing style is really natural and works perfectly. If that makes any sense, haha. They were really enjoyable to read (and I read them both more than once!).
I like writing, but I'm not very creative, unfortunately. For a school assignment I actually did a Niels fanfic from Thomas' point of view, but it definitely needs a few more re-writes. xD

I like writing when I feel like it's working, but that doesn't happen very often. The muses were just smiling on me when it came to these two stories. Right now I've got three other half-started Niels fanfics that I just can't seem to get anywhere with, so who knows if they'll ever see the light of day.
That sounds like an awesome way to deal with a school assignment! I really like Thomas as a character. If you post it I would love to read it!

Same here -- probably most of the stories I write are fanfics. I did have an idea yesterday for a character (which is still fanfic-y, since it's an agent from the Niels universe), so I'm going to see if I can do anything with that.

XD The main problem with it is that most of it is explaining things that already happened in the comics, since my teacher/classmates had never read them. But I'll let you know if I post it!
